    Sue has been the driving force for the huge success of The Plant Centre’s transformation over the last two years. With a potted-plant-haven of her own at home, Sue’s passion for horticulture reflects on her excitement and enthusiasm here every day.

    Hampshire Hog, Adam Hawkins has been gardening about 11 years and has developed a zest for prairie-style schemes using perennials and grasses. He also gets a kick out of karate.

    With over 50 years’ experience Peter Prewer knows a thing or two about cultivating fruit and veg. He was inspired by his grandfather’s passion for growing…as well as his love of motor-sports.

    After working as a gardener in Fleet, Camilla joined The Plant Centre in 2016. She particularly loves trees and woodland plants, wildflowers, herbs, roses and clematis. She has a level 2 Royal Horticultural Society qualification and she is now working towards a diploma in arboriculture.

    Kirsty has a passion for growing flowers for cutting and a love of plant propagation. Formerly working as a gardener in The New Forest, her interest in gardening began at a very young age when she would help her Mother & Grandparents with everything from dead heading flowers, seed sowing & raspberry eating!

    After 12 fantastic years as the Plant Centre Manager, Steve took his well-deserved retirement in October 2018. However, this will not be the last you see of him! Steve will be back to hold his famous talks and workshops throughout the year so keep an eye out of dates.
